What to expect!

What is this camp all about?

At Lil' Touchdowns Football Camp, your lil' player will fall in love with the game of football through age appropriate skill sessions tailored to their ability in a safe, learning environment. We use games and drills to help your lil' player feel confident on the turf!

What age is this for?

This camp is geared towards players ages 3 years old through pre-school.

What does a session typically look like?

Each session will begin with a fun ice breaker and quick introduction to the players about what they can expect for that session. We will then go into skills and drills and end the session with a game and team huddle.

What does my lil' player need to bring?

Tennis shoes, water bottle, appropriate sports attire should be worn and a great attitude!

What is included in registration?

Turf rentals, coaching and sporting guidance, snacks after each session, camp certificate, and an end of camp celebration!

Can family and friends stay to watch?

Yes! In fact, we encourage you to stay and watch your lil' player! Please bring a lawn chair as there are no bleachers in the Sports Hall at the National Sports Center.

Tips and tricks - from experienced sports parents!

We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes before your camp session. This will give your child an opportunity to use the restroom before we begin, tie shoes, get a drink, and calm any nerves. These lil' players like to ease into sports and we want them to feel comfortable! Don't worry about stretching beforehand, we will be doing lil' warmups!

What should I do if my child is crying or not wanting to participate?

Being nervous and scared when trying something new is normal! We ask parents/guardians to please not assist your child in the skills, drills and games during these camp sessions; even if your child is upset. We encourage you to comfort your child on the sidelines and then help guide them back to the turf with a coach. Although they may not always participate at this age, getting comfortable on the field, in front of others, away from their parents/guardians, and in front of their teammates is something they will get used to over the years. Please reach out with any questions.
